Brereton, who played with Hawthorn for a decade and is now a Fox Footy analyst and commentator, posted the nauseating video to his personal Facebook page.
As he continues to massage his shoulder, hardened yellow blobs of pus and a clear fluid squirts from a small hole in the skin into a sink below.
‘Is this sh** ever going to stop coming out of me?,’ he says.
Brereton told SEN radio it was ‘one of 20 times’ he had squeezed pus out of the infected shoulder.
‘It actually turned into a bit of a game,’ he joked.
Brereton played a decade with Hawthorn and was known for his aggressive style (pictured right during a Legends match in 2016).
Now the AFL commentator will need to have a second shoulder reconstruction surgery./Dailymail.co.uk
