Driving safety tips every women should know on her pregnancy

Whether you’re the driver or the passenger, on long journeys or short trips, it’s perfectly fine to travel by car when you’re pregnant. Here are our tips to help you have a safe and comfortable drive.

1. Refrain from driving

2. Right way to wear a seat-belt

If you do drive, make sure not to put the seatbelt over your baby bump. Go under and around so that, in the case of an accident, the strap doesn’t injure your baby.

2. Don’t lean forward

When wearing your seatbelt, even wearing it correctly, lean back. You don’t want to have constant pressure your belly.

2. Use a bump belt

There are bump belts that are made specifically for pregnant women, where you are raised a bit higher and the belt is made to go under your belly.
