A man pushes a huge salivary stone out of his mouth using his tongue in this stomach-turning clip.
In grim footage worthy of the worst pimple popping videos , Brandon Douglas squeezes a long, yellowing lump from the bottom of his mouth with just his tongue muscle.
The Bahrain -based American said the stone had been bothering him for about five days when he felt it starting to come out after eating breakfast.
Recording the gruesome extraction in his bathroom, Brandon opens his mouth to reveal the head of the stone popping out of his salivary gland.
He then pushes his tongue forward, squeezing the stone out and revealing it to be roughly a centimetre long.
Brandon, who is in the Navy, posted on Reddit: “I had some swelling on my sublingual gland which is right under your tongue.
“It had some pus/mucus stuff coming out so I had it looked at.
“Dentist said it was probably a stone developing. Four days later I end up pushing that bad boy out.
“I guess its from not staying hydrated and some other factors. I stay pretty hydrated so I’m hoping it was a fluke.”
Salivary stones occur when saliva calcifies and blocks the ducts in your mouth.
They are a common enough problem, and can usually be removed either at home or in more extreme cases with a minor surgical procedure under local anaesthtic.
