Lipoma Surgery: The ultimate over the shoulder boulder holder with Dr. Pimple Popper
Doctor Sandra Lee, otherwise known as Dr. Pimple Popper, is an well known doctor who’s work is admired by pimple popping fanatics around the world, and should not be viewed by the weak stomached. She captures many of her procedures, primarily blackhead and cyst removals, on video and posts them on YouTube for her hundreds of thousands of admirers.
Her most recent video is about “Lipoma Surgery”. Lipoma is a common and harmless tumor of fat cells and is also known as a fatty tumor. It grows under the skin in the subcutaneous tissue which contains many fat cells. It is slow growing and may occur singly or in multiple numbers. Lipomas are most common around the shoulders, neck, trunk and arms.
They are also found on the upper thighs and low back but can occur anywhere on the body where there is fat tissue. They can occur at all ages from puberty to old age but are more common in middle age. They affect both sexes equally.
Lipomas are dome-shaped or egg-shaped lumps about 2cm to 10cm in diameter (some can even grow larger). The lumps are well defined. They feel soft and smooth and are easily moved under the skin with the fingers. Some people describe the feel as “rubbery” or “doughy”. The skin over the lump appears quite normal. Lipomas usually cause no symptoms such as pain, itching or a feeling of pressure.
If the lipoma is on a pressure-bearing area, it may create discomfort and this is when people seek removal. People also request removal because they don’t like the appearance of these bumps. Often a small incision can be made over the lipoma and they can be “popped” out easily. This is a simple in-office surgical procedure under local anesthesia.
